Abstract

Corporate transparency has become an essential practice for generating value in companies. Therefore, the objective of this research is to determine the level of transparency of a sample of Chilean listed companies belonging to the IPSA-30. The information disclosed by the companies in the annual report, integrated report or, failing that, in the sustainability report on the websites of each company will be examined to analyse the behaviour of the reportability of the information in accordance with the regulatory framework in force in Chile based on a checklist. From the results, the analysis by dimension showed good results, with an emphasis on anti-corruption policies. The ranking showed that only two of the 29 companies complied with the totality of what was evaluated. The analysis by business sector shows that the consumer, industrial and commercial sectors show an outstanding level of compliance and concern for combating corruption in its various forms. It is concluded that, despite their progress, there is still great room for improvement in the levels of disclosure.
