Abstract

In December 2023, 32 women participated in the XI Women for Culture Meeting organized by the Women for Culture Network. Over five days, artistic-cultural practices were created and shared in an experiential and respectful teaching/learning environment. This meeting, in the format of a residency, allowed for the exploration of various forms of community-making, generating synergies between cultural/artistic practices and the ways of conducting research in critical social sciences. As part of a larger research project, this article examines this experience through the lens of participatory action research (PAR) and from a feminist perspective, analyzing how these practices can transform the ways of teaching/learning and researching in the fields of art and critical social sciences.
