Abstract

The present article seeks to analise and problematise two pieces of work of Walter Benjamin, Experience and poverty and The Narrator, about their consequences in the conception of Barbarism. For this, Art is proposed as a place to raise a paradox: the self- portrait as an artistic manifestation that seeks to confirm the art-life experience and, in the work of Shōhei Imamura for the film 11'09''01 September 11, in which it exhibits its anomaly in the impossibility of a narrative of any experience.
