Abstract

This paper analyzes the importance of art and culture, especially punk music in Santiago, during the Chilean military dictatorship. It explores how, in a context of repression and construction of a neoliberal society, the punk movement became a form of resistance. Through a discourse analysis of the documentary "El Punk Triste", it highlights how these musical practices challenged traditional institutions, contributing to the formation of new subjectivities, and expressing collective identity and memory. The study connects these expressions with contemporary fluidity and the Psychogeography of drift.
