Chinese Strategy and Penetration in Latin America (2019-2025)

El artículo propone analizar las similitudes y diferencias en la aproximación al área de influencia de las dos superpotencias (China y EEUU), con un enfoque en las cambiantes demandas y sinergias de los países sudamericanos y en su postura internacional. Además, el contexto histórico ofrece múltiples perspectivas analíticas, considerando también lo relativamente reciente que es la búsqueda china de influencia, al menos en el área geográfica analizada; a diferencia de las aventuras en el continente africano -hasta la fecha el principal centro externo de los negocios chinos- dadas las evidentes diferencias, tanto humanas como materiales.

L’articolo si propone di analizzare similitudini e differenze nell’approccio all’area delle due superpotenze (Cina e USA), con focus sul mutamento delle richieste e delle sinergie dei Paesi sudamericani e nella postura internazionale di questi ultimi. Il contesto storico inoltre offre molteplici prospettive analitiche, considerando anche come sia relativamente recente la ricerca di influenza da parte cinese, almeno nella zona geografica in esame; stante anche l’impossibilità di prendere eccessivo spunto dalle ventures nel continente africano - ad oggi principale centro esterno d’affari sinico - viste le ovvie differenze tanto umane quanto materiali.
