Geometry has been a fundamental foundation in the history of art, contributing order and balance to the human structure. From ancient cultures to the digital age, geometry has guided architectural design, urban projects, the practicality of spaces, and aesthetic inquiry in different cultures. In this article, we will investigate the link between geometry and architecture throughout history, highlighting its development from Egyptian temples to contemporary design. Since ancient times, geometry has been essential to architectural and artistic creation. Its practice has transformed from the purely mathematical and has become a gesture of expression, a means of spatial organization, and an essential aesthetic principle. This relationship is clearly manifest in different currents and movements that have influenced the development of art and architecture.
Within this framework of theoretical and aesthetic reflections and revision, the author's own personal creative process takes shape and is expressed in the development of his work, mainly paintings, of an abstract, formal and minimalist nature, exploring themes of the formal limits of perception and geometry, and incorporating the use of color as a compositional element that structures the work.
