In the historic centers of many Chilean cities, such as San Felipe, the gradual deterioration of heritage buildings and the shift of urban life toward the outskirts have led to a weakening of local identity and community vitality. In this context, it becomes essential to promote initiatives that preserve architectural heritage while addressing the cultural needs of the population. Facilities such as cultural centers and museums play a key role in revitalizing these areas by safeguarding history, encouraging artistic expression, and creating new spaces for social connection that reinforce the community’s relationship with its past.
