Abstract

This manuscript seeks, through an architectural design intervention proposal, to implement actions aimed at the conservation and recovery of the flora of the Manquehue Estuary, located in the commune of Litueche, Region VI. This proposal seeks to articulate local participation and environmental education actions to strengthen the connection between neighbors and the landscape.
Overall, an approach that combines the use of native plants, protection, and community participation offers the most viable solution for recovering and conserving the existing native flora of the Manquehue Estuary. The objective is to enhance Litueche›s natural heritage, highlighting the richness of its landscapes, waterways, native flora, and rural spaces that constitute an essential part of its identity, all of which are intended to be integrated into the project.
