This study is part of the research project in progress financed by FONDECYT, registration folio N ° 11190305, in charge of Dra. Carmen Gloria Ossa. One of its objectives is to determinate the reproductive biology of columnar cactus Echinopsis litoralis that inhabits the Federico Santa María Cliffs (AFSM). Under this context, we carried out the identification of native flora species present in the cliffs, environment initially donated to build a natural sanctuary. It was founded various species of flora, of high botanical interest, in varying degrees of conservation and vulnerability. The
environmental variety means that a great wealth and diversity of species coexist, which it is necessary to take care of, and put in value, not only scientific, but also sociocultural and educational.
