It is proposed that because vocalities are multiple forms of voice and word production implemented by a specific human group in a given historical context, they can be thought of as interfaces that make visible the interstice in between bodies. It is in this in between bodies that the voice exceeds its content or meaning and highlights its corporeal dimension: vibrations, rhythms and intensities. Thus, vocality, interface and interstice allow us to imagine a political dimension understood as the common.
It is argued that the bodily dimension of voice also implies the dimension of affects. Vocalization and listening are actions that help us to think the phenomenon of sound resonance, that is, the process in which voices, as materiality, touch each other and make the common space appear.
