Abstract

The present research reviews the presence and authorial participation of women in national photographic production, taking a tour of the history of photography in Chile to identify their participation both in the general bibliography on the subject, as well as in formal research and archives.
Identify documentary collections of authorial productions analyzing from the approaches of gender and feminist theory of art history; in a tour of its existence in bibliographic, exhibition, audiovisual archives and photographic storage banks in the
country. Seeking to establish the discussion of the formation of a heritage visual archive of national photographers with a gender perspective.
