Abstract
This conference addresses the circulation of ideas among the peripheries of the absolute center and how to formulate, from there, better proposals for global coexistence, to escape hegemonies and gain autonomy.
It advocates for improved South-South exchange of ideas, in its broadest sense, encompassing all instances (human and non-human) marginalized by the North Atlantic (and North Atlantic-centric) project.
The proposals stem from the trajectory of Latin American and Caribbean thought and could be exported to the world, given their success in the region. These proposals include: the development of a Latin American international law that articulates pacifist and respectful principles; the inclusion of the rights of nature in some Latin American constitutions; and the scope of an anti-racist ideology that promotes inclusive hybridity.
These are inputs for the formulation of “ideoglobys,” a type of eidetic expression that has been taking shape in the work of causes that summon the planet as a whole and that are envisioned as formulations seeking consensus for better coexistence and even for the survival of life.
