De la sonrisa al signo de alegría. La perspectiva de segunda persona y la expresión facial durante la infancia temprana

Resumen

La reivindicación del cuerpo en la psicología cognitiva y la filosofía de la mente se ha unido a la de la intersubjetividad en la denominada perspectiva de la segunda persona. La precedencia ontogenética de esta visión no conlleva sin embargo desafectación de las teorías competidoras, por lo cual se hace preciso esclarecer de qué manera las tres pueden coexistir explicando distintos casos de la atribución mental. Junto con ello, se ha tornado objeto de debate si la comprensión de la expresión facial del otro es in origine por percepción directa o corresponde a un proceso semiótico. El texto trata ambas cuestiones y argumenta en favor de una primitiva percepción no semiótica de la emoción en el rostro y el cuerpo de los semejantes, la cual sería más tarde objeto de una semiotización cuando el complejo -en el comienzo indisociable- expresión-emoción se escinda en partes como efecto de la interrupción del contacto afectivo-corporal directo en las interacciones adulto-bebé.
