REWRITING HISTORY. EPOKHÉ AND REDUCTION IN RECENT ARGENTINIAN LITERATURE

This article proposes to use the phenomenological categories of epoché and reduction to investigate two recent Argentine novels (La estirpe by Carla Maliandi and Las aventuras de la China Iron by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara) that can be thought of as an intervention with respect to our present. A rewriting is needed to reformulate the assumptions with which the founding literature of our country proposed the constitution of the national community, to postulate it in fairer and more inclusive terms.
